CARS Mission
The Center for the Assessment of Radiological Sciences (CARS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit patient safety organization formed to advance quality and safety in radiological disciplines.
Some of the activities CARS engages in are:
To assess devices, software, processes and procedures for radiological sciences.
To establish standards and improve quality assurance for radiological sciences.
To establish and analyze databases that would lead to improvements in quality and patient safety.
To provide advice to the radiological sciences community.
To collaborate with other organizations that share its objectives.
